First Borderlands 3 Update Brings In Performance Fixes, But Nothing Major

As good as Borderlands 3 is (as our review say so), there are some performance issues that need to be addressed and be fixed quick. Developers Gearbox have rolled the first of hopefully many updates that focuses on performance fixes.

However, it’s not going to make the UI run buttery smooth, no not yet.

Players who have reached the endgame will now not see the wrong Guardian Rank and Guardian Tokens being dolled out- with many players getting a negative amount of tokens for some reason. The Shield Storm attack by the side-boss KillaVolt will have several tiles properly deactivate. Having all the tiles light up was a bug. Also a bug was the overpowered-ness of the Porcelain Pipe Bomb grenade mod. It will now not explode multiple times upon contact with objects.

Most of the patch notes reveal that many fixes involve the split-screen multiplayer mode. You can check out the full notes here.
