Square Enix’s excellent first part (of who knows how many) remake to Final Fantasy VII (and our second favourite game from 2020) is now available on PC via the Epic Games Store.
PC players are getting Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, the PS5 version which includes enhanced graphics as well as a new chapter featuring Yuffie as a playable character.
However, Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is also bringing with it a next-gen price. It costs $70 USD (RM299 for Malaysia), which makes it at price-parity with the PS5 version, but also one of the first PC games to offer standard editions at this higher price, a significant one especially in regions outside North America and Europe.
Still, if you’ve been waiting for a PC release of this interesting remake version of Final Fantasy VII featuring a fantastic action-based combat system, lots of fanservice and some questionable deviations from the original game’s plotline, now’s the time to do so.
As pointed out by friend-of-the-site Burhan, you can also make use of the Epic coupon worth RM40 gained from claiming the day’s free game offer to make the higher game price a little more bearable, should you intend to get FFVII Remake right now.
