Digital Crafter, the indie team known for the “meme fighting game” Fight Of Animals as well as the “god tier fighting game” Fight Of Gods, have announced a new game in the works.
Titled Fight Of Steel: Infinity Warrior, this will still be a fighting game, but you will be building your own robo-fighter using parts and move chips. So character customisation, from moveset to appearance, is in.
Fight Of Steel, just like Fight Of Animals, promises a simple control scheme and of course, rollback netcode for online play.
It’s still early in development (there’s only concept art for now with no gameplay to show), but the team wants to get feedback early from fans and potential players while they work on building Fight Of Steel.
They have even started to produce a dev diary video series, called Crafter Talks, which gives some insights into what the developers are currently working on.
The latest episode, Episode 2, shares some of the lore behind the world of Fight Of Steel. Humans are no more, but STEEL (SenTient Engineered Evolving Life-form) are mimicking the lives of the former humans, and are split into three different factions.
Fight Of Steel is set to release on PC (Steam) “when it’s done”.
