Fear The Wolves Is A Battle Royale FPS From S.T.A.L.K.E.R Veterans

Now with added radiation

Battle royale isn’t stopping any soon, is it? Fear The Wolves is a battle royale FPS by Vostok Games, a studio made of developers that did work in S.T.A.L.K.E.R, a cult-hit survival game, first released in 2007. It’s another 100-person (solo or in squads), last man standing wins scenario but it’s set in a post-apocalypse, radiated lands of Chernobyl.

The radiation is the game’s extra wrinkle to the formula, replacing the enclosing giant circle of death to draw in players closer throughout the match. Radiation spreads are irregular but can be contained by equipping the right protective equipment. There will also be high-radiation areas filled with loot should you lucky enough to have the right equipment or willing to take the plunge. Plus, you have to deal with the mutated fauna roaming the area as well.

Fear The Wolves is targeted for an Early Access release on PC this summer and a full release within 2018. A release for consoles is also planned. More information about the game will be revealed at E3.
