Fatal Fury: City Of The Wolves Gives Cristiano Ronaldo Familiar Kit Colours

A free update to SNK’s latest fighting game Fatal Fury: City Of The Wolves goes live today alongside the release of DLC character Andy Bogard.

The free update adds five new colours for one of the guest characters in the roster, real footballer Cristiano Ronaldo.

Now you can deck him out in colours that football fans the world over would recognise the Portuguese winger would don in his career outside of representing his country. All legally distinct with no actual club badges, but squint and you’ll see the CR7 wearing the colours of Sporting, Juventus, Real Madrid, Manchester United and Al Nassr.

The addition of CR7 in Fatal Fury: City Of The Wolves has not been a popular one among the fighting game community. Scroll through the comments down of the trailer on YouTube and you’ll see some negative sentiments still surround this guest character. Not as much as real-DJ Salvatore Ganacci, who has since enamoured fans by showing how he too is a fan of SNK games and made an appearance at EVO Japan.

On another note, SNK will be providing the first year’s season pass which includes five new characters (including two characters from Street Fighter, to complete the crossover) for free, by way of only selling the Special Edition of the game which includes the season pass, with no plans to offer them a la carte in the future.

Fatal Fury: City Of The Wolves is out now on PS4, PS5, PC (Steam, Epic Games Store) and Xbox Series X|S.
