When it comes to tracks, there is a clear majority choice what Gran Turismo fans wanted – the iconic Belgian loop of Spa-Francorchamps. And it looks like the circuit is indeed coming to Gran Turismo Sport.
Over on social media including Twitter, the Gran Turismo account teased that Spa may be coming, by posting a short clip of all the social media posts asking for the track.

Ahead of today’s Gran Turismo World Tour event, the top players at the event have started practicing on some of the upcoming races, and as always, started to leak them.

Reports suggest that the track, still a staple on the Formula 1 calendar and home of the Spa 24 Hours endurance race, was modeled already for Gran Turismo Sport. Developers Polyphony Digital just couldn’t secure the licensing deal just yet. The track last appeared in Gran Turismo 6 as paid DLC. So if that was true, it’s an issue the developers have overcome.
Fans of Gran Turismo Sport should have a lot to look forward to this weekend onward. The World Tour should be showing Spa possibly other surprises, and there will be an update with 5 cars and possibly more content is coming next week.
