Pearl Abyss wowed the audience at the Game Awards 2020 with the reveal of Crimson Desert. But since then, it’s all been quiet- the game missed its expected Winter 2021 launch window.
However, the Korean-based developers have offered a little update on that front recently. In a press release, Pearl Abyss said that a new video for the open-world action-adventure game will be released this year. Another appearance at the Game Awards, perhaps?
The press release is mainly to celebrate the milestone for its ongoing MMORPG series Black Desert, which has now more than 50 million registered players since its launch in 2014. The long-running MMO continues to have active players on PC, consoles and now on mobile via Black Desert Mobile.
