“We’ve been conducting closed tests both online and in our studio for quite some time,” Brynley Gibson, Executive Producer said. “But this marks our first large-scale test, and it’s an incredibly exciting milestone for us. By entering this stage of open collaboration with the community, we’re eager to gather invaluable insights and feedback that will drive us to elevate the game to new heights.”
Exoborne has you play as a Reborn, the few survivors of a world where the weather is mildly extreme. Equipped with exosuits called Exo-Rigs, you’ll be venturing into Colton Country to scavenge for scarce resources and hopefully extract with them intact as they face against the forces of nature and other players.
This is a PVPVE game, like many extraction shooters out there, so be prepared to face, or run away, from other opportunist players. Though with Exoborne, it is being made by veterans that had a hand in making The Division (which introduced The Dark Zone, a PVPVE extraction game mode), which sounds exciting. Or you can see this as the next game from the makers of Bloodhunt, the dead live-service battle royale based on the Vampire: The Masquerade IP, which is less so.
Exoborne has no release date yet.
