Eximius: Seize the Frontline, The FPS-RTS Hybrid Made In Malaysia, Out Now

Eximius: Seize the Frontline is an interesting indie title made by Malaysia-based developers Ammobox Studios. What if a multiplayer 5V5 FPS includes a commander role that plays the game like an RTS?

The FPS-RTS hybrid may not be entirely new, but Eximius brings a more active role for the RTS players with the ability to call in supply drops, AI troops to bolster the team and air support. And on the FPS, there’s a strong requirement for cooperation among team members.

In Eximius, corporate wars are fought on the battlefield. The on-foot infantry officers get access to battlesuits with different skills and loadouts, including stealth cloaks, shields to tank the squad and missile launchers.

If you’re not ready to step into multiplayer, there are offline versus AI skirmish modes as well.

The game was in Steam Early Access for a while now, but now it’s ready for its 1.0 release.

Eximius: Seize The Frontline is out now on PC (Steam) for RM51.
