Escape From Naraka, the first-person platformer from Indonesia’s Xelo Games, will be getting some Nvidia RTX and DLSS goodness.
The indie game takes place in hell, of the Balinese myth and legends variety. And with its many dimly lit corridors and shiny statues that adorn the levels, it makes some good use of ray-tracing.
Escape From Naraka’s RTX support includes ray-traced reflections (which can be seen on water surfaces), global illumination (more indirect light, making scenes look more realistic) and ray-traced shadows.
There’s also DLSS support, Nvidia’s proprietary up-res tech that should allow players to gain better gaming performance, very handy to have when you turn on the performance-heavy ray-tracing features.
This also makes Escape From Naraka to be the first Indonesian indie game to make use of RTX and DLSS.
It’s not long until you can speedrun out of hell. Escape From Naraka releases on July 29 on PC (Steam).
