Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising, the action-RPG and town builder game developed by Rabbit & Bear Studios and Natsume Atari, now has a release date.
Rising serves as a companion game and prelude to Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, the upcoming RPG and Suikoden spiritual successor that will be released sometime next year.
In Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising, you will be exploring dungeons in 2.5D environments as three different playable characters: CJ, Garoo and Isha. You’ll also be gathering materials so you can later reconstruct the town of New Neveah.
Interestingly, the effects of playing Rising can carry over to Hundred Heroes. Weapons and delicacies can be renamed in Rising and will later appear in Hundred Heroes, letting you leave your own personal mark in this world. And there will be bonus content in Hundred Heroes should you play Rising before it.

Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising will be out on May 11 for the PS4, PS5, PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG), Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. It will also be available on Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass on day one of release.
