E3 2018: Nioh 2 Announced, Has A Character Creator And Will Have A Demo

Nioh 2 was announced on the Playstation E3 2018 stage with a teaser trailer. But more information has been discovered on the E3 stage.

It will be a proper evolution to the first game, a soulslike action RPG  with an interesting combat mechanic.

Rather than playing William again from the first game, Nioh 2 will feature a new character that you yourself create and customise. “One of the biggest requests that we had was character creation. And that’s something we’re going to implement in Nioh 2,” director Fumihiko Yasuda said. “Players will definitely be able to customise all the details, including gender and race.”

The character will also have the powers of yokai- the enemies of the game- this time.

A demo will be released, similar to the alpha and beta test the original Nioh received so developers Team Ninja can get more feedback.

Nioh 2 is set so far to be released on the PS4.
