E3 2018: Here’s All the Big Game Announcements From Playstation

A scaled down presentation, but in an interesting way. There’s no orchestra or big props, especially if you tuned in the first few minutes.

After the first presentation, attendees of the press conference had to change venues, leading to an intermission, but after that, it was trailer after trailer after trailer.

The Last Of Us Part II

A somber solo performance by Gustavo Santaolalla of the Last Of Us theme in the shady looking tent filled with people is an odd look. But it’s worth it when The Last Of Us Part II trailer plays- depicting a very similar venue to where the showcase is held initially.

A short cinematic then switches to the first gameplay footage. there’s weapon degradation for melee weapons, even more visceral combat where the murder feels weighty.

Call Of Duty Black Ops 4

Four multiplayer maps from the past Black Ops games will be remastered and be available in Black Ops 4 via pre-order. Sony also are giving away Call Of Duty Black Ops III for PS Plus, an extra game this month.

Destiny 2 Forsaken

Trailer for the next Destiny 2 expansion was shown. Coming September 4th.

Ghost Of Tsushima

Another musical performance was shown before the new trailer. It certainly looks like an open world action game with stealth mechanics and combat.

Remedy’s new game was first revealed. A Third person shooter but with psychic powers and destructible environment. It iwl be published by 505 Games. You play as Jesse Fadens, the new director of the Bureau of Control.

Resident Evil 2 Remake

A new reveal trailer of the Resident Evil 2 Remake, now just called Resident Evil 2. It looks like an all-new game based on the original, with redesigned characters -possibly running on the RE engine and a third-person perspective.

It will be out on January 25th 2019.

Trover Saves The Universe

A brand  mew game by Justin Roiland (Rick And Morty)’s studio Squanch Games.

Kingdom Hearts III

Another showing, but a new trailer. Now Sora , Donald and Goofy has costumes in the Pirates Of The Caribbean world, but it looks dramatically different. Jack Sparrow and company have a distinct artstyle.

There is also an all-on-one package for Kingdom Hearts 1.5, II.5, II.8 and III for PS4, for those who needs to catch up on all the convoluted story points.

Death Stranding

A new trailer that shows a bit more of this bizzare game by Hideo Kojima. A lot of hiking, traversing, new female characters and more babies.

Nioh 2

The sequel to the Team Ninja-developed soulslike game was teased and announced.

Marvel’s Spider-Man

New villains, Electro, Rhino, Scorpio and Vulture were unveiled in this new trailer.

Marvel’s Spider-Man is set for release on September 7th.

A PS VR game announced right after the main media showcase was over. It is a From Software project, interesting enough.
