Dying Light Bad Blood Will Be A Free-To-Play Battle Royale Spinoff, In Paid Early Access Next Month

Remember Dying Light? It’s an FPS with great parkour and also horrifying zombies. Developers Techland are working on a free-to-play multiplayer spin-off with some hints of battle royale called Dying Light Bad Blood.

12 people will be thrown into the map, filled with the game’s trademark zombies while you scramble to scavenge weapons and level up. Then only one can survive. It’s sort-of a battle royale, but at a smaller scale.

The game will be free-to-play, but by September it will be in paid Early Access. A Global Playtest is commencing this week ahead of its Early Access launch.

It will take a while until Dying Light Bad Blood is ready for everyone, but if you love the original game and don’t mind trying out a competitive multiplayer spin to it, then put this up on your radar.
