Dying Light 2 Delayed To February 2022

Techland’s open-world zombie apocalypse game Dying Light 2: Stay Human is getting another delay again.

The game was initially slated for a 2020 release, but then went silent until recently this year, where it was supposed to be out later this December.

Looks like it’s not the case, as it needs more time for optimising and polish.

“The game is complete and we are currently playtesting it,” the statement posted on Dying Light’s Twitter, attributed to Techland CEO Pawl Marchewka. “It is by far the biggest and the most ambitious project we’ve ever done.”

“Unfortunately, we’ve realised for us to bring the game to the level we envision, we need more time to polish and optimise it.”

However, more communication about the upcoming sequel will now start dripping (and already has). Previews for the game will start to go live sometime next month.

Dying Light 2 is now slated for release on February 4, 2022 for the PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
