Publisher No More Robots has revealed that developers Tendershoot is working on a follow-up to its zany ’90s internet sim Hypnospace Outlaw.
Dreamsettler, as it’s called, will be set in the same alternate universe where you can access the internet while sleeping, but instead of the late ’90s, it’s now set in the ’00s.
In Dreamsettler, you’re playing as a private eye, investigating the Somnius Sleepnet to help users, and also uncover global conspiracies. You do that by browsing this quirky version of the internet, with different internet lingo. And you can download apps, games, videos, images and music to your liking.
In the Hypnospace Next reveal trailer, there’s a lot of fuss being shown on how you can drag-and-drop music into the jukebox app this time around, as well as the ability to send emails with attachments.

No More Robots also revealed that Tendershoot is working on a retro-FPS (boomer shooter) Slayers X, with ties to the same Hypnospace Outlaw universe.
Dreamsettler is coming soon to PC and consoles.
