Destiny 2 Shadowkeep, Beyond Light, The Witch Queen Plus Year 6 Seasons Available To All Players For A Limited Time

Bungie is making almost all of the currently available expansions for Destiny 2, plus all the seasons from the current Year 6, available to all players for free for a limited time.

This includes the Shadowkeep, Beyond Light and The Witch Queen expansions (the latest expansion, Lightfall, is available for PS Plus subscribers), Season Of Defiance, Season Of The Deep, Season Of The Witch and Season Of The Wish.

All weapons and gear collected from activities of these expansions and seasons can be kept and use after the limited time offer is over.

The Expansion Open Access, as Bungie dubs this offering, begins today until June 3, when Destiny 2 The Final Shape expansion launches.

If you ever want to jump in (or jump in again) into Destiny 2, now’s a good time. If you’re on PlayStation, you can play any of the available content Destiny 2 has to offer without worrying that you just initiated the free starter mission of a paid experience anymore.

Other platforms are gated from experiencing Lightfall, however, unless you purchase it- there’s a discount going on for all expansions as well. Bungie is now owned by PlayStation/Sony after all, so there is preferential treatment going on here.

The Final Shape was supposed to launch this February, but the expansion was delayed to June. This promo, alongside the Into The Light content drop, should bring back the excitement for what looks to be the finale of Destiny’s current story arc- months after the multiplayer looter-shooter RPG faced a content draught.
