Mobile Game SINoALICE, which has eccentric designer Yoko Taro contributing, was supposed to be released last year. But unfortunately, it hit a snag with an indefinite delay.
Now, it finally got another release date. Almost one year from its previous release date.
Developer Pokelabo (a subsidiary of Gree) will be self-publishing instead of Nexon, globally (excluding Japan, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Macau).
The transition of publisher also see new social media channels for the game, this is now their official Instagram and Twitter pages. Pokelabo will be rewarding all players extra in-game goodies when the game launches based on how many reactions they are getting from social media posts. Right now, they will be rewarding 100,000 Gold should total social media reactions reach 30,000.
In addition, SINoALICE’s planned Nier event collaboration continues, but as a two-parter. We’re getting a Nier Automata and a Nier Replicant (the original Nier) events, both being spearheaded by Yoko Taro’s scenario team.
SINoALICE is a twisted take on familiar fairy tale characters in mobile RPG form. It is also jointly developed by Square Enix. It will now set to launch on July 1st for iOS and Android.
