Forza Horizon 4 has a consistent Series content season schedule made up of four weeks, each week for summer, autumn, winter and spring in-game season.
However, Series 23, which should be ongoing, has yet to arrived.
Unfortunately, Series 23 had serious issues which caused it to not be rolled out on time for June 4, when the it should have launched normally.
Thankfully, after almost a week, developers Playground Games has updated to say that they are ready to release Series 23.
This meant that seasonal progression does not contain new cars for two weeks, ending on June 17 as these are replaced by backup versions that unlocks more money instead. By June 18, the Series 23 update will be rolled out.
We don’t know what exactly Series 23 will contain- the usual Forza Monthly stream detailing each update ahead of time was cancelled in support of Black Lives Matter. At least we now know that whatever the new cars will be added, we shall know on June 18.
Previously, Series 22 adds homologated rally cars from the late 80’s and 90’s.
