As promised, the first major update for Cyberpunk 2077 has arrived. This is available on all platforms- PS4, PC, Xbox One and Stadia.
The update on PC is a 5.4GB download.
A lot of is specific quest fixes, with the major feature being address is stability. Memory use have been reduced and various crashes have been fixed.
Also, you should see better crowds on PS4 and PS5 thanks to performance optimisation, as well as various crash fixes on base PS4. Meanwhile, Xbox One consoles also get improved memory use.
It’s nothing sexy, but there’s patch 1.2 coming and probably more updates coming down the line as CD Projekt Red commits to fixing the game. Not counting the hotfixes from last year, this is the first major patch of many.
