Cyberpunk 2077, CD Projekt RED’s upcoming open world RPG gets another trailer on Xbox’s stage this year. Following last year’s announcement and then the big gameplay reveal, we got a new cinematic trailer this time, showing the default male V outside of the first-person perspective, which is how the game will mostly be played in.
It’s an intriguing cinematic, showing the consequences of how you handle the missions you undertake in Night City.
The big trailer also shows off a new character at the end, Johny Silverhand played by Keanu Reeves of John Wick fame. Reeves lends his likeness, voice and did full motion capture for the role as well.
Johnny Silverhand is an established character in the Cyberpunk world, being part of the Rockerboy, a rebellious group of rockers using their music to fight the authority. Silverhand was mentioned in the radio in the previous Cyberpunk 2077 trailer and is essentially a rock star.
In addition, we got a release date. It will be out on April 16th, 2020 for the PS4, PC (Steam) and Xbox One. On Steam, it is priced at RM219.
