SFB Games, the indie team behind Tangle Tower and Snipperclips, announced their new game, a horror game called Crow Country.
You play as Mara Forest as she explores an abandoned theme park in search of its owner Edward Crow. Scrounging for ammo, clues, maps and puzzle solving is the name of the game here.
Though interestingly, the vibe here is supposed to be a “blend of tension and tranquillity”.
The imagery here is not too scary, but definitely spooky. The camera is top-down and sort-of in an isometric angle, and the character design is low-poly in the original Final Fantasy VII kind (primitive shapes with barely any textures) rather than Resident Evil or Silent Hill.

The YouTube description also mentions an “Exploration Mode” will be available, which affectively removes combat as enemies won’t attack you.
A gameplay demo for Crow Country is available now on PS5 (that includes on PlayStation Asia’s store) and PC via Steam.
Crow Country is expected to release on PS5 and PC in 2024.
