Just when you thought developer Pearl Abyss have added just about everything into Crimson Desert, they just added even more.

At the September 2026 State Of Play broadcast, a new paid DLC for Crimson Desert Enhanced has been announced, called Charting The Unknown.

With the Charting The Unknown DLC, players will be going beyond Pywel in their own ship. Go scuba diving and find what’s hidden in the ocean in these new uncharted islands.

There are also new foes that awaits you on land and sea. So prepare for even bigger battles in Charting The Unknown.

Also, the DLC adds an upgraded version of home customisation so now you can just build room like it’s The Sims or Inzoi. Various facilities across Pywel can also be rented to grow bonds with the locals.

And on top of that, there’s new stories to tell, which includes threats from the… Crimson Desert.

Just last week, Crimson Desert got a big free update which improves the storytelling, the game has since been dubbed as Crimson Desert Enhanced.

Crimson Desert Enhanced Charting The Unknown DLC will be out on October 16 for the PS5, PC (Steam, Epic Games Store) and Xbox Series X|S. The DLC is priced at RM85 in Malaysia on PlayStation Store and Steam.
