Civilization VI Coming To PS4 And Xbox One November 22nd, Including All Expansions

Civilization VI, the latest entry to the 4X game initially designed by Sid Meier, will be gracing another console. It is getting a PS4 release, as revealed in the recent State Of Play steam.

For the uninitiated, you play as a civilization starting from the stone age and slowly explore the land, expanding your region, gather resources, make friends/enemies with other rival civs, advance in science and culture and win the game by fulfilling various conditions. With both violent and non-violent options.

The PS4 release of Civ VI will contain all of the base game’s DLC, Nubia Civilization & Scenario Pack and Khmer and Indonesia Civilization & Scenario Pack. The mentioned DLCs are bundled with the base game (and the rest of the DLCs) for free for PS4.

This version should be on par with the current PC release, with the two paid expansions, Rise and Fall and Gathering Storm, coming out soon as a separate bundle. So that means console players can also be baffled and try the new battle royale mode Red Death.

On that note, why does the trailer has this wacky tone rather than their usual larger-than-life style?

Civilization VI is coming to PS4 on November 22nd. It will also come out on Xbox One ( but the two mentioned DLCs won’t be included for free), and the expansions bundle will be coming to Nintendo Switch all on the same date.
