Civilization VI Adding Babylon Civ In Next DLC

Babylon’s coming back! The science powerhouse featured in past Civilization games has finally gotten their turn to appear in Civilization VI. They will be part of the Babylon Pack DLC- part of the New Frontier Pass.

Like past months, we will have to wait until the First Look video to drop next week to see who leads them and what bonuses they will have for this game. But developers hinted that Babylon will remain to be science-focused, and then some.

Alongside the Babylon civ, the Babylon Pack will add 24 new Great People, six new city-states (one for each city-state type: science, culture, industrial, religious, militaristic and trade).

The pack will also add a new optional game mode: Heroes & Legends. This lets you recruit 12 powerful Hero units from myths and legends across the world. Each Hero can only be controlled by one civ at a time, and will naturally expire so you need to use them while they are around. Some will be recognisable, like King Arthur, and some might be names we never been exposed to, depending on where you are from.

The Babylon Pack DLC, part of the New Frontier Pass, will be available a la carte for RM22 on November 19 for the PS4, PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. You can also buy the New Frontier Pack which includes the Maya And Gran Colombia Pack, Ethiopia Pack, and Byzantium And Gaul Pack, plus two more upcoming DLCs.
