Massive medieval brawler Chivalry 2 is finally heading to Steam. The game launched last year as an Epic Games Store exclusive on PC, but now folks who are only sticking to one PC platform of choice can get their hands on what we here at Gamer Matters dubbed the Best Indie Game of 2021 next month.
The Steam version of Chivalry 2 will have all the same content and feature as all the platforms the game is available on, including all released and upcoming updates.
Speaking of upcoming updates, Chivalry 2 will get a massive new update named the Tenosian Invasion. This will see the game adding new maps featuring more sandy lands with the introduction of four new maps, a new faction the Tenosian and also mounts. Now you can fight while on horseback.
The four new maps coming with the Tenosian Invasion are as follows:
- The Breach of Baudwyn (Team Objective Map): Tenosians break through a Mason Bulwark with siege equipment, including the new explosive Bombards
- The Razing of Askandir (Team Objective Map): Masons invade a Tenosian port city, aiming to demolish their lighthouse and burn down their massive library
- The Charge of Wardenglade (Team Deathmatch Map): The classic open field, now with cavalry!
- Desert (Team Deathmatch Map): A battle on the outskirts of Baudwyn in the dark, cold night
The Tenosian Invasion update for Chivalry 2 will arrive on all platforms alongside the Steam launch on June 12.
