Chinatown Detective Agency Releases On April 7

Chinatown Detective Agency, the point-and-click adventure game inspired by the classics including Carmen Sandiego, has finally got a firm release date.

The game developed by Singaporean-based devs General Interactive Co will be published under Humble Games.

As private investigator Amira Darma, you will be based in 2032 Singapore where the world is in a long economic downturn, which gives it a good excuse to have some cyber-noir pizzaz over its pixel-art graphics.

The cool twist in Chinatown Detective Agency is that you will require to do some real-life sleuthing of your own. Certain facts and clues will require you to look up on facts from the internet. Expect to do some digging and exploring rabbit holes just like your detective is doing in the game.

Along the way, you will be making friends and assembling a team to help you solve cases. And also juggling time and money resources.

It’s been a long while since we last saw Chinatown Detective Agency’s early demo back in 2019. So it’s good to see it’s finally ready for release.

Chinatown Detective Agency will be out on April 7 on PC (Steam, Humble Store) as week as on Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
