For League Of Legends fans, right now it’s the best time to watch some esports matches as the World Championships are now in full swing. Top teams all over the world are competing at the highest stage, also referred to as Worlds, held in China this year.
League fans can again catch the Worlds Viewing Party this year. Garena Malaysia is teaming up with TGV Cinemas for the venue. The viewing party will be happening at 10 different locations, which are:
- One Utama
- Wangsa Walk
- AU2, Kepong
- Sunway Putra
- Sunway Velocity
- AEON Seremban 2 (Negeri Sembilan)
- 1st Avenue (Penang)
- Tebrau City (Johor)
- Kinta City (Perak)
Tickets are selling right now for RM30, which includes popcorn, drinks and freebies and can be bought either directly at participating venues or online here. Plus, there are big lucky draws happening only at TGV Cinemas, which includes a RM40,000 worth of peripherals and gaming laptop by Acer Predator and NVIDIA 1050Ti graphic cards by Zotac.
In addition, 12 cyber cafes accross Malaysia will be participating, including the newly-launched The Pantheon.
The Garena Student Alliance will also organise viewing parties at their respective campuses. Check your campus esports clubs for more information.
The event will be held on November 4. At the time of writing, four teams remain in contest for the 2017 Worlds title: crowd-favourite SK Telecom T1, Royal Never Give Up, Team WE and Samsung Galaxy.
