Call of Duty World War II 2018 Asia Championship Announced

Another big tournament is coming to Battle Arena. Alongside the Playstation League Asia FIFA 18 finals to be held on May 13th, the Call of Duty World War II 2018 Asia Championship will also commence at the new esports centre on May 12th.

Call of Duty World War II 2018 Asia Championship is the first of its kind in Asia. Up to 64 teams from Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand can participate in the two online qualifiers that will take place on 14-15th April.

The 4 best teams will be flown to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to compete at Battle Arena and take home a piece of the $20,000 USD prize pool. The winners get the chance to participate at the Call Of Duty World League (CWL) Anaheim.

Registration to compete in the tournament can be found here. For those who wish to attend and watch the finals at Battle Arena can sign up for free tickets here.

There has been murmurs around the Asian Call Of Duty scene getting neglected or have not gained support from big names. With Playstation backing them up, this should be the boost the community needed right now.
