Bus Simulator 21 will be bringing another yearly entry to the public transport game. But new for this year’s game by publisher Astragon Entertainment and developer Stillalive Studios is co-op multiplayer.
Alongside the usual single-player campaign, you can team up with three other players to hustle around the open-world map. The four-player co-op mode lets you run the bus company together. So you get to plan routes, buy busses for the fleet and hustle around town in your designated lines as a team.
Hopefully, you can honk the horn when you see your mates passing on the other side of the road. At the very least, you can be vibin’ with friends while you safely bring commuters around town with this year’s entry.
Check out the new trailer, showcasing the fleet of four busses on their day routes across Angel Shores, featuring rain, many busses and some bopping music.
Bus Simulator 21 features officially licenced busses from the likes of MAN, Mercedes-Benz, Blue Bird and more, ranging from electric-powered busses to articulated busses, a day-and-night cycle and two open-world maps: the US-inspired Angel Shores and the fictional European town of Seaside Valley.
You can experience driving the bus, or have an AI driver (or other players) run the routes. You can also ride on the bus as a commuter or work as a ticket inspector.
Bus Simulator 21 will release on September 7 on PS4, PC (Steam) and Xbox One. The game is playable on next-gen consoles via backwards compatibility, with cross-gen multiplayer available on consoles.
