Borderlands 3’s 4th and final campaign DLC in the current season pass has been revealed. Titled Psycho Krieg And The Fantastic Fustercluck, you will be travelling into the mind of the meat maestro himself, Krieg the Psycho.
The looter-shooter is hyperviolent with blood and gore being common, but it continues to run this gag of not using swear words.
Krieg is another former Vault Hunter, introduced in a later DLC for Borderlands 2 similar to Gaige, who has also appeared in a previous Borderlands 3 DLC.
Kreig did appear in audio logs found in the base game, however. Now we get to see the madman with a fractured mind in full as you go inside his head to find “Vaulthalla”.
As you can expect, Krieg’s psyche is quite the environment. From lush green plains (not something you would see in a Borderlands game) to train that has no brakes and follows no tracks, it looks like a wild ride in this new campaign DLC.
Also, it’s not just Kreig and familiar face Patricia Tannis that will be featured in the DLC. You will also get to see more of Maya, another Borderlands 2 Vault Hunter and a very important person to Krieg. Well, Maya as how Kreig sees her, we are in his mind after all.
And for those that listened to said audio logs and finished the game, this might be the closure we need to see.
Expect more legendary loot to get and new cosmetics as well with this DLC.
In addition, a free update that comes alongside the launch of Psycho Krieg And The Fantastic Fustercluck will bump the level cap to 65- a whole five new levels. Gearbox is saying that this will be “the last planned level cap increase – at least for the foreseeable future.”
Psycho Krieg And The Fantastic Fustercluck campaign DLC for Borderlands 3 will launch on September 11 (for Asia). It is included in the Season Pass, and can also be bought as a standalone DLC.
