The official Borderlands site has been updated to add in cosplay guides for the four new Vault Hunters in Borderlands 3. These are used for cosplayers to get more reference images to help in costume and prop making.
The guide also gives a one-paragraph summary of the new playable characters. While we do know their classes and, after the gameplay reveal event, we know of Amara’s and Zane’s personality, the summary gives some cool tidbits of all four of the Vault Hunters.
Amara is born in the slums of Partali- a location never heard of in the game series so far- and described as “brash, aggressive, and self-assured”. Meanwhile, the Irish lad Zane Flynt is confirmed to be brothers of Captain and Baron Flynt, previous Borderlands bosses that have met their demise. He also has years of experience working as a spy and assassin for major corporations.
The mysterious Fl4k is described as “an emergent AI driven in an ongoing quest for self-discovery”. They seem to not understand socialising with humans, which lead to their affinity to beasts. Moze is an ex-Vladof soldier who has toured over six galaxies, which explains the Russian-style imageries on her default costume. She was part of the Ursa Corps. which may relate to her ability to digistruct the Iron Bear mech.
You can find the cosplay guides over here. Even if you are interested in cosplay, it’s a cool way to see the intricacies of the new Vault Hunter’s designs. Which you might not get to appreciate as much since it’s a first-person looter-shooter.
Borderlands 3 will be out on the PS4, PC (Epic Games Store) and Xbox One on September 13th.
