Bad news, Battlefield fans.
EA has announced that the highly anticipated shooter, Battlefield 2042, is getting a month’s delay due to the pandemic’s effect on the game’s development, now releasing in November.
The company has stated that due to the ongoing issue and the majority of the development team are working from home, EA has decided to take some extra time to polish the game.
Curiously, this put BF 2042 two weeks after the release of their title rival, Call of Duty Vanguard, making it quite of a standoff between two shooter franchise in two months time.
Battlefield 2042 is now releasing on November 19 for PlayStation and Xbox consoles, along with PC via Steam, Origin and Epic Games.
