Scorn is an atmospheric first-person horror adventure game currently in development by Ebb Software, set in a nightmarish universe of odd forms and sombre tapestry.
If that opening line sounds very familiar, well, you might heard of this indie game before. Scorn has been in development for a while, and on the recent Inside Xbox’s gameplay stream, the game got a new trailer.
For the uninitiated, Scorn takes cues of HR Giger’s art style with its world. It’s a first-person horror game, with hints of Metroidvania- each location has puzzles, characters and stories to tell. And new areas, skills, weapons and items will open up as you progress further.
Scorn is expected to release during the launch window for Xbox Series X, and will run at 4K 60fps on the next-gen console. Game Director Ljubomir Peklar describes the Xbox Series X version as “an uncompromising version of Scorn.”
Scorn will be out for Xbox Series X and PC (Steam, Windows Store).
