Assetto Corsa Evo gets its first content update of more to come. The sim racing game adds two new Italian cars and a brand-new track to the series: Fuji Speedway.
First: the cars. The Lancia Delta HF Integrale is a rally legend. This is the “Evoluzione 2” variant of the all-wheel-drive road car. The other new car is the Lamborghini Huracán STO. This is the track-focused trim of the Italian supercar, the closest the road car will be to the actual race-going Huracán GT3.
As for the track, Fuji Speedway is the other world-famous race track in Japan next to Suzuka. Fuji has swooping, high-speed corners, a technical uphill climb and a really, really, long straight. And every lap, you can take a glimpse of Mt. Fuji looming in the background.
This is the first of at least six “content drops”, content updates that just adds new tracks and cars. As per the roadmap, the next update will be more substantial: not only will Circuit Of The Americas (COTA) and five new cars are added, more features are expected to arrive as well, including better support for VR and triple-monitor setups.
Assetto Corsa Evo had a rough Early Access launch, but things seem to have gotten better. You can check out our impressions of the Early Access release here.
