If you are still deep in the amogus rabbit hole, good news. The long-awaited new map for Among Us now has a release date.
Called The Airship, this is the biggest map in Among Us yet. There are ladders, floating platforms and new tasks to do.
Alongside that, the free update will include the promised basic account system and possibly new hats.
The dev blog posted here is much longer than that, and it divulge further on why they are taking their time with their updates.
For a 5-person team, the sudden surge of popularity it saw in 2020 was something they were not prepared for (like dealing with fake merch, having to do overtime which they admit is bad because crunch is no good, and slowly scaling up). But they are thankful for this opportunity. It’s worth a read if you like to see how the sausage is made.
