Against The Storm First DLC Adds New Species, Biome And More

Against The Storm, the “mangga sambal belacan” genre blend of city-builder and roguelike, is getting its first DLC pack, the first since the game fully launched its 1.0 version.

Against The Storm – Keepers Of The Stone adds a fifth new species of townsfolk, the Frogs. Expect the Frogs to excel in stone masonry and demand their need for water be fullfilled.

Alongside the new species, a new biome, new buildings, orders, risks and opportunities will be added with this DLC.

Alongside the paid content, Against The Storm will also be getting a free update for all players. And this too also contains new content including new resources, an increased level cap, new buildings, and… fishing?

Yeah, fishing is being added. Which is interesting considering all the biomes don’t have water interactable water sources- they only act as a border for the current map. But now you can have piers in the new biome.

We highly recommend Against The Storm, and if the base game isn’t enough, this DLC pack should add even more layers to the already complex yet satisfying city-builder.

Against The Storm- Keeper Of The Stone and the free update will launch on September 26 for PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG, Microsoft Store). The game is currently on PC Game Pass.
