With the backdrop of the recent IFA Berlin Tech Show, Acer held a Global Press Conference that introduces many of their upcoming lineup, including another addition to their Gaming Handheld portfolio with the newest entry, the Acer Predator Atlas 7.
At a 7-inch form factor, the new Predator Atlas 7 is powered by an Intel Arc G3 Extreme processor and an Intel Arc B390/ B370 GPU, which could run most of this generation of games without much issues, with help of the device’s dual-fan cooling system. And features a precision metal Predator AeroBlade fan with 89 blades at just 0.1 mm of thickness, delivering up to a 10-percent increase in airflow, cooling it to the touch.
It’s also rocking a FHD touchscreen with a 120 Hz refresh rate, 500 nits of peak brightness, Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) support at a 16:9 aspect ratio with Gorilla Glass protection, plus a 80Whr battery capacity, Hall-Effect Analogue triggers with L and R full-size TMR joysticks, and up to 24 GB LPDDR5x of RAM, it’s quite a machine that only weights at about 750g.
No price or release date has been set yet for the Predator Atlas 8, but expect it coming to stores soon, while it’s bigger sized sibiling, the Acer Predator Atlas 8, is expected to reach the North America, EMEA and Australia markets this October.
