Myst is a game that is iconic for fans of Adventure games. The first-person exploration point-and-click game used cutting-edge games of it’s time period to immerse the players in it’s world and puzzles. It’s basically the main influence towards modern titles like The Witness.
There have been many different remakes and ports for the game over it’s 18 year history, with this latest one created by indie studio and current rights holder, Cyan Worlds, which sees the game being re-imagined using the Unreal Engine.
This means that this version of Myst will include VR support and will also officially launched on Xbox consoles for the first time ever thanks to Game Pass.
Quite an interesting game to be added onto the Game Pass lineup but we’ll see how the new re-imagining looks and plays when it releases in August 26.
