Good news: Sega is bringing the release of the English version of Yakuza 7, Yakuza: Like A Dragon, a few days early.
The RPG was supposed to release on November 13, but now being moved to November 10, three days earlier. This is to make the game available just in time with the launch of the Xbox Series X|S.
The scheduled PS4 and PC (Steam) release is also being moved to this date too.
However, the bad news is that for folks who want to play on the upcoming PS5, it won’t be available on the console’s launch window. In fact, it will arrive four months later: on March 2, 2021.
Players who bought the PS4 version (digital and physical) can get a free upgrade to the PS5 version. However, save files won’t be able to be carry over, oddly enough.
Yakuza: Like A Dragon will now launch on November 10 for the PS4, PC (Steam, Microsoft Store), Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. It will launch on PS5 on March 2.
Curiously, the Steam store page for Yakuza: Like A Dragon is still not available in certain Southeast Asia regions like Malaysia.
