XCOM 2 And Trials Fusion Headlines June 2018’s Free Games For PS Plus

Welcome to the future! Man! Machine! The Fusion! (and all hail our alien overlord)

Playstation Asia has announced the free games available to active PS Plus subscribers for the month of June 2018. The two headlining games are similar to the ones being offered in US and Europe, which was announced yesterday.

Firaxis’ follow-up to the seminal turn-based strategy game and another Ubisoft game will be available on PS4. XCOM 2 takes place in the timeline in which XCOM: Enemy Unknown ended in a game over. Aliens have taken over, the XCOM are now a guerilla squad mounting a resistence against our alien overlords. XCOM 2 is harder, more punishing thanks to the not-so-popular turn timers, but also more rewarding. Keep your soldiers alive and the research going fast. Good luck Commander.

The other game is Trials Fusion. The fun but niche 2D time trial platformer has its fans, and if you have yet to try it out it’s pretty fun. Think of Trackmania, but with lopsided physics. Also, it has the best cheesy theme song and intro screen you will ever see.

Both games are available for the PS4.

In addition, there will also be a few more games included. Q*bert: Rebooted will be available for the PS4, PS3 and PS Vita. Vostok Inc, Psycho-Pass and Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Future Soldier completes the lineup.

All these games will be available for download from June 7th to July 4th.
