Xbox Game Pass just added a bunch of new games for February 2021, but they’re not done yet. The second half of February has seven more additions.
The two clear highlights are car games. Car games you should really give a try. Dirt 5 is the next-gen racing game showcase that’s all about off-road racing (and a story told entirely in audio podcast form). It’s nothing special gameplay-wise, but it’s a good showcase of what a Xbox Series X (or a souped-up PC) can do. Plus, it has local co-op.
The other is the more fun racing game. Because wrecking others is not only encouraged, it’s part of the name. Wreckfest channels the good fun of banger car racing from the developers of Flatout and good, crunchy car carnage seen in Destruction Derby.
For those not into cars, there’s other good picks too. A space flight sim (Elite Dangerous), a fantastic arcade multiplayer game (Killer Queen Black) and two different styles of RPGs- the western CRPG (Pillars Of Eternity 2) and the soulslike action RPG (Code Vein). Also, Super. Hot. Super. Hot.

- Dirt 5 (Console, Cloud, PC) – February 25
