Wreckfest Finally Coming To PS4 And Xbox One August 27th, PC Version Getting Content Update

Check yourself before you wreck yourself

Wreckfest, Bugbear’s long-in-development next car game, was released on PC late last year. But the console release was delayed indefinitely. Now, we finally got a release date.

The banger car racer with crazy detailed damage models will finally be out on August 27th. Alongside the release is a content update for PC which includes the following:

  • 3 entirely new tracks and 1 new derby arena
  • 3 new crazy challenge vehicles
  • 1 new reward car for finishing the career
  • New & improved career events
  • Several new paintjobs for existing vehicles
  • Additonal daytimes for all tracks
  • “… and some more cool stuff!”

There will be a season pass, something not seen on the PC release, which promises new customisation items for your banged-up cars and new cars to be released over the season.

Wreckfest is out now on PC (Steam) with a discount thanks to the Steam Summer Sale which is still ongoing.
