Can you feel the wind? It’s jamming, real soon. Dotemu’s sequel to the cult hit one-on-one disc-throwing bout Windjammers now has a release date.
Windjammers 2 brings the same intense feel of a disc-throwing match build for a modern era. 10 characters, a mix of returning veterans and newcomers, new gameplay mechanics, new courts (some with crazier gimmicks than others) and online play will be included in Windjammers 2.
Throwing frisbees might sound silly, but what if it plays sort of like tennis, but with heightened special moves that would fit in an anime that requires special motions to execute like in a fighting game? That’s Windjammers, and there’s a reason why it has such a cult following.
Windjammers 2 will be out on January 20, 2022 for the PS4, PS5, PC (Steam), Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. It will also be available as part of Xbox Game Pass
