Windjammers is a cult-classic game. It was obscure, but good word of mouth spread recently and enough to have someone brought it back alive. Something similar to what happened with Metal Wolf Chaos.
And it’s nice to see that the 1v1 competitive frisbee throwing game is now getting a sequel.
Windjammers 2 will be developed by DotEmu, the team that ported the original game for the PS4, Vita and also the Switch.Interestingly, the sequel will skip the PS4 and Vita to be released on Switch and PC first.
Winjammers 2 will replace the sprites for 2D hand-drawn animations.
