We Won’t Get Kingdom Hearts III Anytime Soon, But Have A New Trailer Instead

It must be tough being a Kingdom Hearts fan. The main series takes so long to make, the side-games surrounding them are available across way too many different platforms and any news of development come in very small drip feeds. Recently Tetsuya Nomura said that both Kingdom Heart III and the Final Fantasy VII remake will only arrive in the next few years, which compared to other games nowadays that only announce when the wait time is about only a year, that’s a pretty long wait.

However, the good news is that we do have a new trailer. This trailer was debuted in one of the world tour concerts for the series’ soundtrack and has now been made availble to everyone to see just in time for E3. Take a look:

Kingdom Hearts III is looking much sharper now and has certainly benifted with the engine switch to Unreal 4. Some plot details have been revealed as well. Why would Sora and the boys wanted to revive Roxas?

It will be a few more years until Kingdom Hearts III arrives on the PS4 and Xbox One. Another new trailer is set to debut at Disney’s D23 event that will showcase a brand new world.
