Here’s an interesting take on the visual novel/narrative game genre. We should talk is a short-form narrative game where it’s not about picking one of multiple dialogue choices, but constructing a sentence from multiple choices that can drastically alter what you mean.
It’s not what you say, but how you say it.
We should talk has you interact with friends and strangers at the bar, while texting your in-game partner Sam about life and romance. How exactly you say things to your partner and people at the bar will determine your existing relationship can continue, or end at the night. Multiple endings are available.
We Should Talk was developed by Insatiable Cycle and published by Whitehorn Digital. We Should Talk is out now on the PS4, PC, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
