Update 1.11 For Gran Turismo Sport Adds 10 New Cars And A New Track, Monza

Say your prayers at the Temple Of Speed

As was teased last week, there will be a new Gran Turismo Sport update and we finally have the details what it will add. All the 10 cars teased by series producer Kazunori Yamauchi has been named (though the guesses by the community has been pretty much spot on) and a few more additional content is coming as well.

First up, the cars. The 10 to be added are a mix of classic racers. The most notable addition is the three Toyota cars, the Supra RZ, the FT-1 and the 2000GT since Toyotas are rarely seen in racing games nowadays.

The full list is as follows:

  • Dodge Viper GTS
  • Ferrari 512 BB
  • Ferrari 330 P4
  • Ford GT
  • Jaguar XJ13
  • Lamborghini Diablo GT
  • McLaren F1
  • Toyota 2000GT
  • Toyota FT-1
  • Toyota Supra RZ

Next up is a new track. GT Sport is desperately lacking in tracks, so the inclusion of Autrodomo Nazionale Monza is a welcome one. The high-speed circuit should be familiar to Formula One and racing game fans, being featured in past GT titles before. The fictional Autodrome Lago Maggiore will get new track layouts, with eight new layouts in total coming in this update.

Lastly, the GT League single-player mode is getting expanded with four new events, including an endurance race on Monza.

GT Sport servers will undergo a maintenance period today around 12PM-2PM  Malaysian time, +8GMT to make way for the upcoming update.
