Trials Of Osiris is coming back. This 3V3 PVP mode was a popular staple in Destiny, and will be making a return to Destiny 2 next season.
For the uninitiated, Trials Of Osiris is a 3V3 Elimination mode with high stakes. Completing the trials each week will net you new gear, but if you did a flawless run, those gear drops, also returning from Destiny 1, will glow in a certain way where everyone will know you accomplished just that. It’s for the hardcore of Destiny players to get sweaty on.
Multiplayer maps from Destiny 1 will also be returning with Trials Of Osiris. This includes Cauldron, Exodus Blue and Anomaly.
This video teaser shows how developer Bungie is readying the return of Trials, with promise of better balance changes so each match feels fair.
Trials Of Osiris will be coming alongside the next season of Destiny 2 after Season Of Dawn: Season Of The Worthy.
Season Of The Worthy will begin on March 13th. Destiny 2 is now free-to-play and available on PS4, PC (Steam), Xbox One and Stadia.
