Tokyo Expressway In The Rain Coming Soon To Gran Turismo Sport

Gran Turismo Sport has recently added wet conditions on the Red Bull Ring track, though it is the only track with raining conditions. But that will soon change, as we got a glimpse of another track getting the wet treatment.

At the recent GT World Tour event at Salzburg, one of the races in the Nations Cup was on a wet Tokyo Expressway. In particular, the east outer loop layout was used, which had the longest straight in the game before Special Stage Route X arrived. The long straight has a tunnel which means the track features a dry portion to it this time.

As you would expect, it made for one entertaining race. The top players in the Nations Cup of the FIA-certified GT Championships were battling each other, and the loose grip. Highlights of the race can be seen below:

Now that the track has been revealed, that does not necessarily mean it would be featured in the upcoming monthly content update. Not just yet. The week when Spa-Francorchamps was revealed, we got the wet Red Bull Ring in the free update. Nothing has been revealed for September’s update just yet, most likely it would be Spa.

So expect the wet Tokyo Expressway will be coming in October the soonest, which will add the Porsche Taycan and Michelin-branded content.
